Our Commitment to Protecting Human Creativity

At Artz for Change, we believe in protecting and celebrating human creativity. We are a sanctuary for authentic, human-created work, which is why we have a zero-tolerance policy for AI-generated art and writing masquerading as human-made.

We recognize that artificial intelligence can be a useful tool when used ethically and within strict, clear boundaries. AI can serve humanity and even enhance the creative process. But let’s be real—AI can never replicate the depth, emotion, and originality of human-designed art.

We’re not against AI; in fact, we believe it can play a valuable role in innovation. However, without a fair system in place, unchecked AI threatens job losses, causes economic instability, and negatively affects mental and physical well-being. That is why we have established the following guidelines for our community, members, marketplace, and in-person exhibition events.

🎨 Visual Art

All visual art (like photography, paintings, or sketches) must come from a human-created source. Here’s what that means:

📸 Photography:

The main image must be taken by a human using a camera or phone.
No AI-generated images or AI-generated visual edits are allowed in any part of our platform.
Editing: You can use tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Lightroom to enhance your original work (e.g., color correction, cropping), but never to generate new elements.

🖌 Paintings or Sketches:

Must be 100% hand-drawn or painted by you.
No AI involvement of any kind is allowed.

(Transparency Note: Artz for Change occasionally uses AI-created pictures for design, inspiration, and conceptualization purposes only within our paid projects gallery. We clearly mark these as such and will replace all temporary images with human-created visuals that are voted on by our community for payment and posting.)

📝 Written Content

Written work must be 100% human-experienced and human-written. Artificial Intelligence may only be used as a technical proofreader on a completed human draft—never as a creator, brainstormer, or co-author.

Artz for Change offers AI-crafted question templates strictly to help creators bring their own lived, human experiences into digital products.
Any written piece submitted for publishing or consideration for our community job board will be verified with AI detection tools to ensure originality.

(Transparency Note: Artz for Change will use AI tools for grammar corrections and SEO purposes only on written pieces selected for publishing on our platform. We will always disclose this with: “This content was written by a human author. AI tools have been used for grammar or SEO only.”)

⚠️ Consequences for Non-Compliance

If any work is found to violate these guidelines, it will be removed from the platform immediately, and a warning will be issued to the creator. Repeated violations may result in Artz for Change banning the creator from future ventures.
